Fail Forward:

In a meeting with a prospective client, which was a big German bank, it appeared that I was not prepared to present myself according to their expectations. They assumed that I would present slides, talk through scenarios and so on. But rather, I was there to establish interpersonal connections and let them know and truly feel that I was the right person. Although that looked like a failure at first, it actually became the key to my success with that company.

Lightbulb Moment:

It was when I clearly described the best marketing strategy for myself: having positive thoughts all the time - no matter what happens and seeing every ‘NO’ as the Next Opportunity.

What advice would your current self give your 25-year-old self? I would again start as an entrepreneur. Life happens only once and it is an entrepreneur life!
